Shelter Manager

Vice President of Operations

New Hope Inc. is seeking a Vice-President of Operations to serve as a member of the Senior Management Team.  The VP of Operations is responsible for the overall administrative operations and supervisory duties related to domestic and sexual assault programs including: sexual assault services, domestic violence residential services, community-based counseling services, civilian and SAFEPLAN advocates, Supervised Visitation, Batterer’s Intervention and Transitional Living program.  The VP of Operations ensures compliance with regulatory and agency standards, quality assurance, statistical data collection and appropriate reporting, as required.  The position also includes fiscal oversight, and supervisory responsibilities for all program directors/managers/coordinators.

Candidates are required to have experience in supervisory/administrative capacity, particularly in the domestic and/or sexual violence field, experience in building diverse teams and effective communication skills.  Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree, LICSW or other licensed mental health provider is preferred.

IT Developer

The essential functions of this position include, but not limited to:
  1. Respond to helpdesk calls by logging requests into EasyVista and forwarding them to proper person or solving them.
  2. Propose new solutions for managing information.
  3. Travel to other Metalor locations as required.
  4. Develop and maintain custom software and applications that meet business requirements
  5. Develop and maintain Group intranet and extranet applications
  6. Participate to various global IT projects within the international development team

  8. Participate actively in first level of IT support in Americas
  9. Documentation and maintenance

The ideal incumbent will possess the following:

  1. Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems or similar degree
  2. Effective verbal and written English communication skills
  3. Effective training skills.
  4. Ability to present data to management in clear and concise format.
  5. 2 + years full time programming.
  6. Strong knowledge in Microsoft .Net framework and web based development
  7. Experience with Microsoft SQL databases. SharePoint and/or K2 workflow engine is a plus
  8. Good knowledge of Microsoft enterprise product such as Windows, Office and Active Directory
  9. Basic knowledge in tcp/ip, DNS and network troubleshooting is a plus
  10. Strong knowledge in object oriented programming
